Westlake Village is a beautiful, clean, relatively safe bedroom community located at the very beginning of Ventura County. It is extremely family friendly, has beautiful hiking trails, parks, community events and you can always find parking!

I love the Promenade at Westlake and I always go there when I hang out with friends. Westlake Village has a lot to offer, such as stores and restaurants. I love how I go to the local high school and I can still be close to those places. I don't want to change anything about it.

Surrounded by the Santa Monica mountains, very isolated from both the city of LA and SB.. comprised of boring hom*ogenous ,mostly older population most of whom are SFV transplants, little diversity , 0 culture , even less soul.
If you consider yourself to be cosmopolitan in ANY way you will find yourself miserable in this wasteland.
Not bad for families , decent schools with Westlake High and Oaks Christian testing high . Little to no traffic and 0 parking issues are highlights along with living close to Malibu . However it will take you at least an hour to get to LA via 101 and you will encounter endless traffic on freeways ( upon which you will be dependent ) in any direction.
