#ORUMBB Announces 2024 Recruiting Class - Oral Roberts University (2024)

TULSA, Okla.– The Oral Roberts men's basketball team and Head Coach Russell Springmann have announced the addition of seven new players to the 2024-25 roster.

The incoming class features two freshmen and five transfers. The newcomers will be joined by six returning Golden Eagles (Braeden Moore, Issac McBride, Pablo Navarro, Jalen Miller, Josh Jones, and Sir Issac Herron) from last year's team.

2024 Recruiting Class Breakdown

Samuel Alajiki | Forward | 6'7" | Senior | Dundalk, Ireland | Rice University
From Dundalk, Ireland, Alajiki is transferring from Rice University for his senior season. The 6-7 forward appeared in 20 games last year for the Owls and was first off the bench a team-high 14 times. Averaging 4.4 PPG and 2.8 RPG, Alajiki scored a season-high 17 points, shooting 5-for-5 from long distance vs. St. Thomas (TX). Before Rice, Alajiki played for two years at Cal appearing in over 59 games.

Luke Gray | Forward | 6'7" | Freshman | Edmond, Okla. | Oklahoma Christian School
From Edmond, Oklahoma, Gray joins the Golden Eagles after a tremendous career at Oklahoma Christian School. Gray, a three-star recruit (247Sports), was recruited by South Carolina State, Cal Poly, and Liberty before committing to ORU. During his senior year, Gray helped lead Oklahoma Christian School to a Class 3A state title, averaging 22.3 PPG and 17 RPG over a three-game stretch and earning tournament MVP honors. Gray crossed the 2,000-point mark in the championship game and is the Saints' all-time leading scorer – a title that was previously held by NBA All-Star Blake Griffin.

Mathok Majok | Center | 7'3" | Sophom*ore | South Sudan | University of Massachusetts
From South Sudan, Majok is transferring from the University of Massachusetts where he appeared in eight games. Majok recorded a career-high seven minutes vs. Central Connecticut State where he scored two points and grabbed two rebounds. Before UMASS, Majok averaged 12 PPG, 11 RPG, and three BPG at Bridgeport Prep (Conn.).

JoJo Moore | Guard | 6'5" | Freshman | Leander, TX. | Rouse High School
From Cedar Park, Texas, Moore comes to the Golden Eagles after an impressive career at Rouse High School. Moore is a three-star recruiting (247Sports) and was recruited by Longwood, Cal Poly, and Montana State before committing to ORU. During his senior year, Moore averaged 17.7 PPG, 7.0 RPG, and 5.6 APG. During his junior year, Moore helped lead his team to a District 25-5A title. He racked up numerous accolades, including Class 5A All-State, TABC Region 4 All-Region, and District MVP.

He is a major reason why his team experienced tremendous success over the past few seasons, and he finished as the 16th-ranked prospect in the state of Texas 2024 class. JoJo has size, skill, and athleticism, and we look forward to him being here at ORU!"

Darius Robinson Jr. | Guard | 6'1" | Junior | Chicago, Ill. | Casper College
From Chicago, Ill., Robinson Jr. is transferring from Casper College where he appeared in 65 games while starting all 33 games last season. Robinson Jr. averaged 18.4 PPG while shooting 41.9% from three and 89.3% from the foul stripe last season. While at Casper, Robinson Jr. scored a career-high 33 points two timesand crossed the 30-point mark six times.

Carlos Rosario | Forward | 6'7" | Santo Domingo, D.R. | Drake University
From Santo Domingo, D.R., Rosario is transferring from Drake University where he appeared in 32 games. Rosario scored a career-high 10 points vs. Valparaiso and played a career-high 20 minutes against Southern Illinois. Prior to Drake, Rosario played two seasons at Washington State. He played in seven games before medically redshirting his freshman year and played in 22 games the following season.

Jackson Skipper | Forward | 6'7" | Redshirt Sophom*ore | Tulsa, Okla. | University of Vermont
From Tulsa, Oklahoma, Skipper is transferring from Vermont where he has spent the last two seasons. After redshirting the 2022-23 season, Skipper made his collegiate debut this past year vs. VTSU-Johnson where he grabbed a career-high five rebounds. Skipper scored a career-high 11 points shooting 3-for-4 from deep in the regular season finale at New Hampshire.
